Join the First Southern Leyte Tourism Photo Contest with the theme: Zooming Zip Southern Leyte: "Capture the Fun & Spirit of Ziplining"
The photo mechanics for you to be able to join:
1. The contest is open to all hobbyist, amateur, and professional photographers from Eastern Visayas only. The winner will be required to submit a certification duly signed by their City or Municipal Mayor as to their residence. Employees and officials of Southern Leyte Capitol , and members of Southern Leyte Chamber of Commerce and Industry are not eligible to participate in the contest.
2. Entry to be submitted in 300dpi resolution and not more 6mb in file size, on JPEG. Entry must be sent by email to zipsouthernleyte@yahoo.com with title of entry and short description, name, address and contact number. Maximum of 3 entries may be submitted by a participant.
3. Entry must be an original work, free from copyright, and must have not been published or exhibited in any printed or online media prior to the contest.
4. Submitted entry must highlight the theme Zooming ZIP SOUTHERN LEYTE: Capture the Fun and Spirit of Ziplining.
5. Digitally retouched outputs are not allowed. Creative effects done within the camera at the time of exposure e.g. multiple exposure, flash fill, lighting, filtration, etc are allowed.
6. Criteria for judging:
(1)Technical Profeciency 25%
(2)Creativity and Originality 30%
(3)Faithfulness to the theme 20%
(4) Overall Impact 25%
7. Judges decision is final.
8. The photographer of the entries shall retain ownership of their photo. However, Southern Leyte Province, SLCCI, Kuting Reef and major sponsors shall reserve the right to publish/exhibit the photos for promotional purposes.
9. Deadline for submission of entries will be on June 27, 2011 at 5PM.
10. Awarding of winners will be held during the July 1 Anniversary of Southern Leyte.
Prizes
1st Prize: P15,000.00 + Kuting Reef Casita Accommodation + 15 Free Zipline Tickets
2nd Prize: P10,000.00 + Kuting Reef Premier Cabana Accommodation + 10 Free Zipline Tickets
3rd Prize: P5,000.00 + Kuting Reef Deluxe Cabana Accommodation + 5 Free Zipline Tickets
